Good news everyone lol

Found A GTA LCS unpatched today at my local games store.. dint cost me a penny either lol {I LOVE MY FRIENDS} :D

The Game Actually Cost £14.99 pre owned and it works YAY!

Still needin a battery that works and a charger cos im a little wary of using my home made usb charger just in case it falls out when im downgrading.. dont want any un-necessary BRICKIN :O

im gonna look for some when i help my grandad with doin a bootsale in the morning.. ya never kno i may find a bargain ;)

if im successful in findin any ill let ya kno how i got on with downgrading and then you can all say thank god for that lol

Yes, good luck with that..its important to have a good battery and a charger handy-you wouldnt want any mishaps...

lol i know this thread is old.. but ive finally got round to buyin a batt and charger! battery should be here 2moro! i did actually buy a batt and charger for my psp a couple of months ago but they were 3rd party and neither of them actually worked lol (i also double checked it wasnt my psp that was actually bricked by usin someone elses batt and charger)

now that bit over and done with.. should i still take this route with downgrading and custom firmware or take another path (not sure if ive missed anything on the scene lol)

ive still got GTA LCS unpatched.. so im alredy to go!

yes, you can still use that to downgrade your psp-after you are done, then go ahead and install custom firmware.

lol got my official battery thru and works perfectly.. but the official charger i got doesnt work.. unless theres something wrong with the socket on my psp.. any ideas? its one thing after another lol

Try plugging in the charger without the battery inserted and see if it powers the PSP on. You could also take a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and swipe the inside of the socket on the psp-maybe you just have a dirty connection. Or your charger is indeed bad.

im pretty sure when i used my friends charger it worked.. maybe i did get a dud.. just seems weird that whenever i buy something for my psp it doesnt work.. maybe im just destined not to have one lol

ok took it to my local games store and they reckon something might of blown on the charge part of things as they've tried changin lil connection bit over and still nothing works.. the bloke who looked at it cant fix it.. but someone he knows can. gonna cost me £40 but im sure it'll be worth it.. thanks for all your help

Successfully downgraded to 1.50 w00p!

now all ive got to do is upgrade to a custom firmware and im off!

Thank you ever so much for all those who helped me especially to dEEz_nUtz! and the problem with my psp was a blown fuse on motherboard or something lol (silly home made chargers) but once again thank you very much!

upgraded to 3.71M334 and everything is runnin superbly! just had a bash at final fantasy I with no UMD settin on and im amazed heh heh! thanks guys ever so much
