Gotcha, and to get into recovery I start the psp while holding down the right trigger button.
Do all custom firmwares have a recovery mode? I'm running m33 3.51

Lots of you might know this but to new users...
OK so there;s another way of getting your ORIGINAL flash0 files without backing it up.It's simple.Just a way called Re-Flashing.Well first you downgrade your firmware back to 1.5 then you upgrade it back to your normal firmware.It's that easy...IDK if that's anything to do with this forum but i just wanted to tell you :)(look up Google for the right instructions before Re-Flashing)
My PSP Life-
2.71-> 2.80-> 3.11-> 3.50-> 1.50-> 3.40OE-A
Bricked before then recovered by Re-Flashing.

Heh, i can't stand re-flashing, not done it and it sounds like a pain to have to do, but if you don't have other options then it can get you out of hairy situations.

That's 5mins a can't be bothered with :P
It takes only 20secs to flash whatever part of the backup you need (or less) and you're up and running again.

Em...Well Re-flashing is just for people who forgot to backup their flash0 files.It helped me because at the time i was putting a new XMB theme into my flash0 files i didn't know what backup meant lol.So i Googled information on how to fix semi-bricks and found Re-Flashing is a good way.

If you have a semi brick and don't have the files then use the recovery EBOOT to recover back to 1.50. I would give you my 3.40 OE-A files, but there is a custom theme installed and therefore the files may not work on your system (I've converted it for Japanese hardware/software compatability).

Does that mean it will work on a japanese psp? Cuz mine is jap, and when u say EBOOT how long should it take to recover back to 1.5 and if it does, will it restore the files in flash0-vsh-resource? And one last question. How do i fix my psp? Cuz i accidentally messed up my resource files.

Yes, it will work on a Japanese PSP, mine is. Are you still able to access the recovery menu?
