What firmware does your PSP have?

Do you have official firmware or CFW?

there ya go.

Just extract the update and place the PSP folder thats in the update to the root of your PSP MS. It should ask you to overwrite. Choose yes to all when it does. Now go to the Game Menu and run the update.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! I went from 3.50>1.50>3.51M33>3.52M33-4...I can get all my Emulators to work, Which is great.. BUT I can't seem to get any PS1 games to work... I have checked my MSO:/ but can not locate the ISO Folder,Correct me if I am wrong (I Understand that if I format my MEMSTICK the ISO folder will appear?) what would be the difference if I just create an ISO folder? Will this work?

UPDATE: Fixed carterj7 issue. His ISO file name was to long. Just wanted to add this in case someone else has an issue similar to his.

@SolidSpyk

I would format the MS to get all the folder directory's to be made on the MS. PSP ISO/CSO games go into the ISO folder. But your PS1 games will go into the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder.

You said you went directly to 3.52 M33-4 but then said you went back and redid it.

How did you redo it?

Did you go back to 1.50 or did you just install 3.52 M33 Then upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 again?

Ok so I have done what you have said.. I formatted the MS then I got all the Directories back... I placed my PS1 game into the MSO:/PSP/GAME folder.. Then I launch it, I see the old school PS1 logo then it goes Dead.. any thoughts after this? or is it possible for you to send me a PS1 game that actually work to rule out all possibilities?

@SolidSpyk

Try installing this popsloader plugin.

Extract it and drag the seplugins folder to the root of your PSP MS.

Now go into recovery (Press R shoulder button while turning on PSP)

When in recovery menu go down to plugins and enable the popsloader plugin.

Now Exit out of recovery.

Now go to your PSX game and select it. If you placed the seplugins in root and enabled the popsloader plugin a popsloader menu should appear with different pops versions to use. 3.10/3.11/3.30/3.40/3.52/Orignal from flash (3.52)

Select 1 of the pops version's and see if it will play the PSX game. If you choose a pops version and it doesn't load the PSX game go ahead and reboot the PSP and go to the PSX game again. This time hold the R button down while booting the PSX game and the popsloader menu will come back up for you to select a different version.

Keep trying each version till you find 1 that loads the PSX game. When you find a version that works just play the PSX game as normal. The PSP will remember to load that pops version with that PSX game from then on.

Just remember you can always hold the R shoulder button down to load the popsloader menu and choose a different pops version.

Make sure you download the above popsloader file and use that. Don't use the 1 that comes with the 3.52 M33-4 update. It dosent include all the files you need to run the diffrent pops versions.
By the way what PSX game you trying to play?

I was having a similar problem with 3.52 not playing my backup iso's. I reformatted the memory card; i was able to see the game after selecting the memory card in the game section of the psp interface. it would go blank and i would have to restart. NOW! Make sure you right click/check the properties of your iso's so that they are not archived or read only. After unchecking all the boxes in the properties of my iso, it ran like a charm. Hope this helps.

Yeah it usually ends up being something simple problem thats easy overlooked.

Just like on page 1 someone else was having an issue and it ended up being the game title was to long. So they shortened up the name of the game and it finlay showed up in the Game Menu.
