I am also interested in the name of the app that you guys are using to play the ISO off of your PC through use of USB, I have searched all over for USB2PSP because for some reason I thought thats what the apps name was. If you could let me know it would be much appreciated, thank you

@1reflex
Here are a few things you can try.
Make sure the title of the ISO is short.
Example:
Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now right click on the ISO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)
Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.
When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.
Now go to ADVANCED and press X.
Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.
Make sure all the settings here are disabled.
Now EXIT out of recovery.
Now try the ISO.

i did everything you said but still when i load the game, the screen stays black, and shuts down after 10-15 seconds
PS: running off 3.52 kernel if that matters, and this is the second iso i have downloaded, and still same problem

Have you tried running it with a UMD in the Bay?
make sure you go into the Advacned and Advanced Config and make sure all those options are disabled.

yes, does the WLAN on the left side have to be up or down, and sometimes when i load the game, its a solid orange light, and sometimes it doesn't light up at all (meaning the magicgate light)

Do you have any plugins installed? If so try disabling them and try it.

hello all , yeah I have 3.80m33-4 CFW, I had a problem playing cso's over 250mb ,(2 cso's worked though but they were less than 250mb, fight night round 3 and metal slug anthology) couldnt understand it, thought maybe they were bad copies of the files or something, (NOPE), turns out I have fake memory cards that read as unknown when I press triangle on the memory stick on the psp main screen:(, but when I tried the cso's on my 1gb "Sandisk" mem stick that reads "supported" they worked perfectly:), I have the FFVIICC (i believe its a cso and not a iso) File but its to big for my current memory card so I cant check it out , so at the person that started this thread, you said that you didnt try any other cso/iso's correct? also press the triangle but on the memory card in the main psp screen with all the icons and see if your mem stick reads as supported and not unknown or unsupported this is very important.
im sorry you seem to be on top of that already lol :)
