I've found this thread very helpful. I'm picking up a channels on Ch*rus MMDS using my freecom usb dvd-t stick and Progdvb as I managed to get a hold of the required 0144 file. However, I don't think I am descrambling channels at this point as I'm getting a black screen. I want to use my laptop at a diferent point in the house so that we can watch/record different things at the same time. I've seen references to s2emu.dll and softcam.key files which I think i need for Progdvb to descramble the signal but I'd love to get a definitive link to a download to these files if possible. All help greatly appreciated

Hi
You will find s2emu and the latest softcam key file in the link below but I find vplug version 2 or higher a lot better (either or both go in Progs plugins folder, then start one.

Hi mgb17,

Alot of what you've been talking about refers to DVB-T usb sticks.
Do the same pronciples apply to DVB-T PCI cards?
As in could I use progdvb under vista with a Hauppage Nova-T PVR 500 to decode ch*r*s mmds?

The same pronciples apply also to DVB-T PCI cards with BDA drivers.
If the Nova-T 500 card is a good choice I don't know.

Hi mgb17 and ebowdia2,
I've found this thread very helpful. I'm picking up a few channels on Chorus MMDS and I've been informed (thanks to mgb17) that I might have the wrong transponder list. I have tried to download the 0144.ini file you speak of in this thread, but the link must have changed. Would you be able to point me in the direction of the correct transponder list. Thanks a million.
Hi All,

Noticed that this link is dead. Can anyone help me in getting a terfile for Ch*r$s to use with PROGDVB?

Any help is greatly appriciated.

Rgds

Do a transponderscan at 234000 with 8k.
After that do a transponder scan with 8000 steps. 234000, next 242000, next 250000 and so on.
Highest should be 378000 depending at your downconverter.

Hi Guys,

Anyone know of Software that I can use on Linux to decrypt the encrypted Ch0ru$ channels. I've used ProgDVB on windows, but don't know what software I need for Linux?

Thanks

I've set up a new PC to do this since around Christmas but am only picking up 53 channels. Have the frequencies changed? Was getting all channels (same as my sagem box) the last time i set this up(around 6 months ago.
