Young kids shouldn't have a PSP XD
Most of Sony's games are violent...
And yeah, they deserve it for buying a PSP and not understand what they're doing and messes up the flash...
And we don't say "break"(only if we crack it or got water in it, etc)we say "brick"...I'm starting to get annoyed with that word...
A brick here, and a brick here, and a semi-brick here.
Lots of noobs these days...

I hav an original 1.5 PSP. I would like to use my homebrew apps AND be able to play New UMD's. I read about devhook and now i read its obsolete. How and what do I do to play all my games UMD/Homebrew on my 1.5. I'm new and need a step by step. After I get help with all this, for my next thread is there a way for me to keep all my UMD's on mem stick?
Thanks

Thats perfect, I'll try it. The guide looks great and to be exactly what I needed. Once I have it up and running, I'll be back in for more advice on game storage and play. Thanks again Luff.
In regards to "Young Kids" not having PSP's (Kikzm) If it wasn't for young kids there would be NO PSP to modify. Not to mention kids are usually the ones who grow up to be software/hardware crackers n hackers that make this community great.....and how do u THINK they got started? Can I get an AMEN?!
-So don't be so hard on the youngin's, that was YOU once.

You don't expect a 7 year old playing GTA games...
EDIT:And yeah...I was them "kids" once, but I play Pokemon, Mario and all that.Nintendo is good for younger kids...I think that $ony's inventions are good for older people...Maybe 12+ ?

Access recovery mode then go to the section "advance" then go to "Format Flash1" then you're good to go.

Then you don't have 3.52 M33-4.
If you do then you have recovery mode. Turn the PSP completely off by holding the power switch up for a few seconds(Don't just push it up once because that will bring it to sleep mode). You need to hold it up till it turns off.
Then hold the L-Trigger button down and keep it down while turning the PSP back on. Recovery mode will come up then.

Thats how you turn off the PSP. I can't help you on that if you can't figure it out.
Try taking out the Battery then put it back in. Then hold the L-Trigger button down when turning the PSP back on.

If you take the battery out and the charger then it won't go to sleep mode, it'll reboot. So you should do that and turn it on while holding the R trigger.
