I know what needs to be done

The firmware has to be updated with the correct version for my WII.

I have a JP wii and the firmware is currently sitting as 2.??? US i think. SO i need something with a higher number than that which is japanese so the machine thinks in sync again

What download are you talking about?

Hi slibs, please can you help me.

Unfortunately I didn't get to read any guide before I ran Paper Mario (US) on my PAL wii. After that I also ran Donkey Kong Barrel Blast (US). Now it's semi-bricked, and also 2 additional channels are added.

Please advise which PAL game will fix it for me (or any other better way)
They said that Mario Striker PAL will fix the semi-brick created by Paper Mario, but will it also fix the problem created by Donkey Kong?

Also can you please let me know what are the other PAL games that come with latest PAL firmware (what is the latest version anyway)?

Much appreciated if you can please help me out here...

Welcome to the club, I also have a bricked wii, unfortunately for me, I think that the game that updated my wii had the latest frimware.
so I'm really fucked I need to wait for the next frimware that only god knows how long it will take until its out, but you on the other hand are lucky cause you have an old frimware which you can update with recent games that came with an update..

I did a litle research back then when my wii got bricked any I found out that Boogie and Anubis II are the latest games with an update on it (the latest I think), so if those wont help I think me and you are on the same situation... =\

wiinovice, i was refering to the post on oct 5. anyways, so you tried to update using brain academy. it was the US brain academy that bricked my wii. (haha, i played the japanese one and i think it kept on saying that i'm a retard...) anyways...

i need to wait for the next update. so slibs, anybody, any idea which one might do the trick?
