Battery's out and still nothing. Left it out with charger still in, and it's still not moving. What exactly do you mean? How'd you get the selector to move?

LOL MAN! ur suppoosed to take the charger and the batery out so then the psp turns of....haha then try what i said again. or u can hodl the power button up for 10 LOOOOONG seconds till it turns off.

Geez, everytime I take out the battery and charger I'm scared it won't boot up and brick. But so far so good. Still trying.

yeah u cannot brick yet because technicaly ur not flashing... so dun worry about that. describe what is happening for me please? is it just simply freezing? anyways remember ur highlighting the entire photo folder and pressing trinalge and slidwshow...

Yep the screen just freezes. Uploading photos of my folders to see if it looks right.

Great, it's thundering in my area, not too bad right now but it could get worst in the middle of flashing [If I can even get there] Should I stop attempting to do the HEND thing until tomorrow?
EDIT: Think I found what I did wrong, the other files didn't go to the root folder so I had to redo them just now. I don't know if it will work now but I'll try tomorrow since I hear thunder.

Double post I know, sorry. But it's urgent. I was right about the file placement, fixed it and this morning it worked. Went from blue, green, then brown and reset. Turned off the PSP and came back and noticed HEND was disabled and this time I had to enable it again and it just turned blue then brown, no green. Did I do something wrong? It still reset and was still on HEND afterwards. Anyways I turned it off again because I have school. Oh, and should I format my memory stick? It has one song on it but I deleted it from XMB.

its best not to format your memory stick just in case you delete any important files. and no it doesnt matter that the green screen skipped just as long as it actualy says 2.71 HEN-D in your system settings. now you should run the downgrader (the HEN-D will still be there even though u turned off your psp).

It's not, is that bad? Just came back and turned it back on, HEND is not enabled anymore. I could just enable it and run the downgrader, or do you think there's a problem?

The photo thing remember? Well I did it again and got the enabler, pretty scared. It says my current key 5 first longword is [Some number] and that 1.50 will not run on a TA0082/86 with this setting. Press X to alter the key or O to exit. Should I press X?

Alright, it says 1.50 can run on it, pressed O to exit it. And now back to XMB. Now I have to run the Update X.YZ.
