some dealers are claiming to have the eurovox in stock now from £99. Have read many of the different threads on this subject it has left me somewhat confused. Many advocate the dreambox 500t, but other argue you are likely to end up with a clone for which the transponder is not as reliable as the original and will not pick up all the channels. The dreambox 600t seems to be a good bet but i am finding it difficult to source one of these? The other alternative is to wait for the box t which seemed to be continually delayed or take a risk and go for the eurovox? Have you any suggestions?

i can confirm it works just fine..
i don't think people should rush out and buy them though...
with nagra2 on the horizon there are better options that are more future safe.
that said.. they will get updated too, if possible, but not as quick as some would like.

Any of the usual boxes will do i.e The Box, Eurovox, etc as N** MMDS use a DVB-C variant.

You will find the loader and firmware in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post, although as I am not on Ch**us MMDS I have not tested them.Firmware is a bin file called EVX TX_H_071123.Uploader is called TX_STB_Loader.

it works in all mmds ares m8.
not really using it to be honest.. just got it for a look.
like playing with new toyz..i'll prob move a dream box or another box i that I prob cant mention on this forum aside and put it in the bedroom for a while and give it a proper test.. but it appeared to work fine, got all channels on the chorus downconverter.
p.s. new services on mmds in last week or so.. rescan your box (whatever it may be (2 new transponders!))
