The ROOT is the main Memory Stick Directory. It has ISO/MP_ROOT/PSP/VIDEO/PICTURES/MUSIC etc. etc. folders in it.

First try naming it to 150.PBP and place it in the root. If it doesn't run then try renaming it to 150 drop the .PBP

So the 2 files would have the folowing directories.

ms0:/150.PBP for 150.PBP file.
ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE for 1.50 ADD ON-2 update folder.

Have you even installed a custom firmware? Go yo System Settings then System information and tell us what it says under System Software.

Then try it again.

Go HERE and re-download the 1.50 ADD ON-2 file and 1.50 EBOOT.

Rename the 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP then place it in the ROOT of the memory stick. The root is the first directory that comes up when you connect via USB. It has the ISO/MP_ROOT/PSP games there.

Then extract and drag the UPDATE folder in the 1.50 ADD ON-2 file to the /PSP/GAME folder and run the update via Game Menu memory Stick.

You might want to format the Memory Stick before trying these steps.

I tried no good, i am playing isos now though. so i have updated to 3.71m33-4. Some of my isos wont run. Is that because i havent installed the kernel addons? How do you make cso's run?

You have been a great help and cheers.

ISO/CSO don't run on 1.50 kernel so no that isn't the issue. Go HERE and follow the steps to get your ISO/CSO working properly. If you still can't get it to work then try a different ISO/CSO download.
