I am going to order the argon chip, sounds easier to install than the d2ckey, 31 wires sounds grim, 13 sounds better.

Can anyone explain to me what the legs are cut and not cut mean.

I understand that d2c its argon or d2c chipset

Or if its d2a/b that you can use the wiikey

But what does the legs cut or not cut mean

There are 3 legs that Nintendo cuts so that it will be harder for modders to mod the chip. If your chipset is D2C then it will always say legs not cut. If it's D2B with legs cut then you will have to dremel the top of the IC to reveal the traces to solder to.

Hey nooby here. Have a question as to which wii chip i need, dont really understand all this mumbo jumbo.
wii tracker says your drive chip is most likely GC2-D2B
Your drive pins are most likely not cut.
are there any options for not sodering? never done it before and
not in the mood to break my wii and the chip trying. Thanks
