Thanks for your responses guys.
Rdysn5,
See this thread to see if you can handle the installation of the d2cKey with the FlexPCB.
There is also a great video in there showing exactly how to install the chip with the FlexPCB. The guy in the video does the whole install (disassemble Wii, install chip, test, reassemble Wii) in about 20 minutes.
I just added links to a video of the same guy doing an Argon installation in about 25 minutes to that thread.

15w Soldering Iron with a pencil tip
30AWG wire
30/20 solder
electrical tape
double-sided tape to held the chip down
desoldering braid
scissors
wire trimmer
Soldering Flux
I guess I should get all of those except the soldering flux. As you said no extra flux is needed. Does the solder have to be 30/20?
thanks for your advice.
I'm not sure what you mean by 30/20. Are you talking about the gauge of the solder? If so i would get the thinnest solder i could find.

Ah I meant so say "to hold the chip down".
The solder is supposed to be 60/40, not 30/20 sorry. It's .032 dia. Rosin-Core Solder.

Oh ok...Tin/Lead...60/40 or 63/37; either should be fine. Make sure you don't get lead free solder though. I read somewhere that there can be some tin whiskers or something like that on the solder contacts. This can cause a short and should be avoided.
I have got my solder. the bad news is that its only 0.5oz in a tiny cylinder. when the guy in that video installs it he has this huge spool of solder. i guess 0.5oz isnt enough.
I didn't buy a chip. Basically I have heard too many bad things about the d2ckey and the argon. the argon install looked doable but i don't see much point buying it if it's a bugged chip. As for the d2ckey, to be honest I looked at the video and just thought it looked way to hard to install.
So anyway no chip means I haven't attempted an install. I read there might be a new argon coming out though.
