without battery, it powers up, but if i do what this guy does in this video, it stays on without power cord:

it turns on when i turn the psp on with my power cord. nothing happens when i put the battery in, no auto-boot or regular boot when i try to power up.

Update: The battery, even though it sparked and all, works now. I recharged it, and it charges up to a maximum of 30%, enough for the Pandora unbrick/custom firmware process at least :). Thanks for all the help asiol ;).

its very helpful in the future
and save it somewhere special on your computer
