susieqbb I find YOUR post very funny. You act all smart but then you go on and post about how you think nintendo will find a way to stop ALL MODCHIPS?
lol. Nintendo is not getting "Ripped Off" nor are they in any financial trouble.
FFS, every 1st party game they release gets sold out and then keeps flying off the shelves. I went to EBGames/Gamestop today and they told me they were sold out of WiiFit pre-orders, and also mario kart wii and also mario kart wii steering wheels.
What does nintendo care about pirating if everything they release sells out anyways? FYI I do purchase many games from Nintendo so don't try to cry hypocrite.
Ryuduo ignore that useless post and let us know how your issues are proceeding.
I buy alot of my games as well, but sometimes if I want a game and I can't get hold of it at all then I will resort to usenet, lately Nintendo has been doing well, but I'm concerned about them also clamping down on modders, lately there mostly seem to be screwing over the homebrewers the most.
As for me right now, i'm currently doing some research via afterdawn and several other Wii sites for viable LG or Pioneer burners, one thing i've noticed that seems really important is the 'native' booktype which the LG and Pioneer seem the most compatible, not just for reading Wii games, but also burning them correctly. The main thing i've noticed with my problem, and i've spent a few hours researching it, and thats when Imgburn starts the burn process, it always comes up with.
Book Type Setting: N/A
I've tried to change the settings to book type DvD-Rom, and no joy with it, my original drive which did burn wii games fine always displayed Book Type Setting: Dvd-Rom when burning, where as my others didn't so I'm guessing there just not 'good', not sure what my old burner was, it was a generic drive. This new burner is a Sony/NEC clone (Optiarc AD-7190A, the only other thing I can think off, is that my other drive was set to Region 1, all the others haven't been set at all but I doubt that would cause burn errors?
