Its strange, I just flicked around a few channels and settled on paramount +1 and it just updated! Cant explain it. Oh well, its working now, thanks.

have the same problem. Have flashed box with 7.09 e beta. Turned on default key and emu. Exit to s** Sp***s. Updates and carries on past 100% and starts to update again. Tried turning box on and off a few times. Still the same.
Any one got a solution. Ta

As for codes, you can't get them here. See http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/662154
If you are in Dublin and on NTL then there is nothing you can do. Otherwise update your firmware and codes will no longer be an issue

I presume you mean connect your box to your PC. ebay is probably your best bet to the get the cables cheaply

It is called a Null Modem Lead/cable and you will need to check that your PC has the correct 9 pin port, if not then you will need an adaptor, check out HyTeck's guide at the link below, diferent box same connectivity-and you will be able to correctly identify the lead/s you require.
