You can get all stock firmware from this site.

Only issue is if you only have your key, any BenQ or Hitachi you flash is going to be missing your serial data. You will be flashing someone elses serial data to your drive.

Hey, i tried to desolder the tsop chip from my burned drive and managed to solder it onto a new drive and got my console up and running, so if your chip isnt damaged you can do the same.

Sorry... this tread kinds got me thinking. I have a Benq drive flashed with 1.41.. can I just flash to 1.51 or do I need to have orig files? if I don't have orig files what my options?

Use Jungle Flasher. Read the firmware and it will spoof to ix1.51 for you. Then you can flash.

you need the orig files not for the firmware software itself but for the key and other important information stored within the firmware...

you will need to extract the orig.bin from your current 1.41 drive... all of the important information will still be there...

then you can use jungleflasher and whatnot to flash it 1.51 using the orig.bin you just extracted

Confused

are you saying I don't need original extracted files?

If I do need them and dont have them what are my options?
