Hi noely I'm in Dublin too and have the Starview 4 Super USB, not sure if you know as much about these as Starview 3s.
I downloaded the chatterbox toolbar and loaded the file TheboxSuperUSB_V1.02_beta.BIN onto my box.
I then typed in 1570 at the menu screen and am taken to a screen with three options.
I was told to change key emu to on. My three options are 'Nagravision' 'Set default key' and 'key code'.
I changed 'key code' (as I presume this is emu) to on and exited back out and tried to scan automatically for channels on both Ntee L and coarus.
It appears to scan through channels for around 20 seconds and then says 'Info: no new channels'. It then jumps to the manual scan screen.
I also got key codes from a lad I know who has a eurvox box and changed these and tried to scan again. Same thing 'Info: no new channels'.
Any ideas on where I go from here?

Do a factory reset & flash it with the v.102 in eamos.
Then switch your key code from off to on & exit out to channels.
Make sure all your connections are in properly & you are scanning from the main feed.

How exactly do I do a factory reset?
And by 'flash it with the V.102 from eamos' do you mean load on the V.102 bin file that's in the eamo's library link at the bottom of your signature?
Sorry if I need a bit of an idiot's guide!

You download the firmware from Eamos via a null modem cable and come back and we will tell you then what to do!!

When you finish the above, disconnect the b0x from the TV & put it on standby & then download the v1.02 via the usb stick.

Shandon, i have to go out now, but have a look in the folder in eamos. There are help files in there to help you out.
Best of luck with it ;)

Sorry disregard my message about usb key..
I followed these instructions by doing a factory default reset and then switching off the box.
I then went to menu installation and scanned for channels under both enteeL and coarus. It appears to scan through for around 20 seconds and then I get the same message'Info no channels found'. The screen then jumps automatically to the manual scan screen.

The cable is going straight from the wall into the box. It's an analogue feed.
The only issue I can think of is that its a shared house I live in where we are not actually paying for the n t l. It's just coming through from the wall, I don't know if the landlord is paying for it or not. I know its n t l though cos we pick up the same channels as you do with that provider ie setanta ireland etc.
Could this make a difference? I know of people in the same position and it makes no difference to their cable box.
It just seems I'm following all the instructions I've been given on here and by the people who sold me the box and I'm not picking up any channels at all. Can't really find anyone in the same boat on any of the forums I've looked at.

It's definitely not n t l digital I have anyway.. does this mean the box won't work?! I was told you only needed analogue?! that could be 150 euro down the drain.
where should the coaxial be plugged into?

Are you sure you need digital? is that just with the starview 4 or something?

Well give it a go and see how you get on, do a Factory re-set and then installation, choose your provider CH***S N*L or whatever, and automatic scan. That way you will soon know, best of luck anyway.
