It is a rar file and needs to be unzipped with Winrar, which is in Eamo's FTA Library, also you will need the GTRom 4.03 Loader.

Just to confirm to the user that says the update looks like a media player file. Mines looks like a VLC media file but still works.
I have starview 2, updated to 4.55 using the loader it advised me to and it worked! took a few attempts though and when I went to sky2 it looped a few times with data being updated, but came through in the end.
I also have a channel dump that I have used and is working if anyone wants it.

hi can someone point me in the right direction in order to updating new software onto my eurovox max red box. is it on 4sharing? and if so which file needs to be downloaded as there are a few different types? do i need to download some other software in order to get the box software working?

Have you unzipped it with Winrar, if so then get the loader and see what comes into the loader, it's a strange one that is.

Used these instructions and worked perfect don't forget to rescan the box on 6887
