Hey onion calm down over there, nobody is attacking you. Everything the senior/experienced members on this site have posted has been correct. We have over 30 (probably more like 50) threads in this topic alone. Do yourself a favor and use the big red button in my signature. Type in "xbox 360 ban" and take your time to read each post. You'll find the same info in every post that will back up all the info in this thread.

Really we don't care if you get banned or not. We are a community trying to educate people, we can only go by what has already happened. So far the general consensus confirms that all the security info is stored on a chip on the mb. When you connect to the xbl servers, all the info is transmitted and updated. Then you receive either a flag or a ban.

Do you worry about the 12v myth too? It's posted on many sites that running 12v will get you banned. I know of over 100 360's that are not banned and have been running the 12v mod for as long as the xbox 360 has been around. Are you going to believe some myths you hear about about bannings and clearing the cache on the hdd to keep you from being banned?

Everyone on this site knows i don't sugarcoat things. Either take our advice or don't. We get nothing from you actually listening to us so why does it even matter what you do? Just don't argue with us. We made this community what it is by being helpful. You don't need to aruge with us, we're just giving you the advice you asked for.

One more thing, and this goes for all of you in this thread.
If you're going to quote someone, just quote the last line they said and not the whole post...We don't need to build a novel of the same posts.

Guessswho, what I was saying was over my head was the angles. I don't understand the math that goes into angles. That's because I suck at math. I admit that. It doesn't mean I don't understand how computers and electronics work.

I find it hard to believe Microsoft would allow someone to continue playing online with a non-retail version of a major title. That doesn't sound like something a corporation that wants to stop piracy would do. Even so, I'm going to give you this one because no one really knows why or when people get banned except for the Microsoft employees.
