Yep most do and those who don't usually have enough sense not to broadcast it. aD only has a few rules - really not that hard to follow and hint piracy is one of them.
@nemesees
I can't tell much from this log - there may be an error in there but glancing through I don't see it - but try doing this in 2 steps. Rip to the hd / DVDFab then burn the video_ts w/ ImgBurn, Nero etc.

If you can't get w/ PlayPlayer disabled doing movie only I don't know what to tell you.
I was able to do movie only ripped to my hd w/ pathplayer disabled using DVDFab HD Decrypter 5.2.2.2 (I try the never one shortly) - this really is the same as Platinum except you have more options like burning etc.
Doing full w/ & w/o PathPlayer DVDfab did either shut down/disappear or error out.
edit: typo

Just to add - yes it can be the c drive or any other hard disc drive you use for storage and would like to save the movie to - like you have another hard drive installed or partitioned your drive - each will have a different letter.
What I've tried that does NOT work:
°DVDFab - 5.2.3.0 & 5.2.2.2 - full movie w/ and w/o PathPlayer disabled.
°RipIt4Me - Full or Movie only - way too many errors.
°AnyDVD 6.5.1.8 running in the background w/ Shrink or Nero Recode - full or movie only won't even analysis.
What I've tried that does work:
°DVDFab - 5.2.3.0 & 5.2.2.2 - Main Movie only w/ PathPlayer disabled
°Latest AnyDVD and CloneDVD - full or movie only
°AnyDVD ripping to hard drive then using Shrink or Nero Recode.

Well I tried all mentioned and have not been able to back up.
1 thing I did notice was when I look at the drive the original disc is in it shows the DVD having 40GB on it. Any possibility thats my problem, I maybe bought a bad press? It does play OK on my DVD player.

Nope rookie75 the disc showing that size is just part of the copy protection.
Right now either movie only w/ DVDFab w/ PathPlayer disabled or AnyDVD should work with this one.
Try another drive to rip if you have one - if you do have a 'problem' disc some drives are better than others at ripping these.
That or exchange for a new.

@rookie75
I ripped the movie with dvdfab with Pathplayer disabled. At the end of the rip, dvdfab closed itself with the same message everyones been getting.
I thought since I already had the rip in my hard drive, I could burn it with dvdfab. So I set the source as being my hard drive and the destination as my dvdrw.
What I saw on the left panel were numerous titles, each being over 2 hours long. (maybe that accounts to it being 40 gb?)
But I still was unable to burn that way.
I finally used dvdclone2 and repeated that process. Anydvd was running in the background, but since the movie was already ripped, I don't know if it had a role in it.

Yep most do and those who don't usually have enough sense not to broadcast it. aD only has a few rules - really not that hard to follow and hint piracy is one of them.
Thanks binkie7 for explaining the rules to me - appreciate it.

I got it completed via a dvd ripper called Magic DVDRipper 5.4.0
I downloaded the program, it saw my dvd, and ripped it under 12 minutes.
looked around and found a serial/patch to help me beat the trial version.
Thank you all who helped me with my frustration
I appreciate any help from anyone, as long as I can offer help in return
