For anyone reading this in Australia. The DVD+R from Strathfiled Car Radio at AUS$1.68 each are junk. After about 5o to 60 minutes of movie they start to skip really badly on a standalone LG player.

Stick to RICOH (made by RITECK) or try the new Teac 4x that Kmart are selling in a ten pack. They seem to work well. (using a Pioneer DVR106D burner).

yeah....i'm not concerned about price really at all...just want the best for the best price i can find it at...

hmmm.....i've read nothing but media posts so far on this and a couple other sites...and it seems that TY is the ultimate winner...

i've actually heard some bad things about riteks even the G04s or whatever...

the whole "who made what and who branded it" thing is what is really killing me

and plenty of you order spindles right???? how do you know what you are getting before you actually get it???
are there sites that sell this stuff and clue you in as to who actually made them?? i.e. fuji made in japan or made by TY?

Personally, MXL media (Hitachi-Maxell) is equally as good as TY media.
If your buying media from a store, 'Made in Japan' is always a goodsign & means your very likely to get MXL or TY media.
