THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for all your support and help.. much obliged..

I still haven't received my 80GB HDD to install XP SP3 but I will in the next few days and will do it.. However today I thought "let me go to my cousins house and try again on the 32Bit Vista" following your guide.. and guess what?

Whallllaaaaaa :) It worked like a treat :) however my benq was not in 0x73 it was showinf 0x7F not sure if it makes any difference but hey! Tested with older copies, original game and ofcourse H.A.W.X which requires 1.5.1 and thanks GOD all is good :)

Much appreciated guys.. is this the same proceedure I take when the 1.6 and later versions come out?

yes same process. very easy once you get the correct set-up. there are a variety of acceptable codes. As long as it writes no worries. oh and your welcome.
