I'm assuming that the downgrader is supposed to do something more than reset the Wii automatically.

give more detail, what apps or wad did you intall?
1) what media did you used?
2) do you see ios 249, when you launch the Gamma using the HBC(not the channel)?- go to HBC then launch gamma loader.
3) did you intall cios8 or cios9?

So you run the IOS downgrader first then cios fix right? Just to clarify if other user are reading this. Or you are not using the correct WAD manager?

I went through and deleted everything off my SD card. Then I reloaded and tried it again. Used WAD Manager for IOS16, then CIOS_fix.wad, and then I ran CIOS downgrader.

I'm having a slight problem with WiiGator not loading a game, and I think that it has something to do with CIOS installer V7. It downloads all 15 parts, and when it goes to install, it fails with the error 1017

thnx for replying. i used phillips dvd-r disks, yes it did say at the bottom of gamma launcher ios 249, i go to the hbc and then go on the app which sais backup loader or umthing like that, i'm not sure which version of cios i installed but i'm 100% sure i installed cios. i think that its the media as the problem is pretty much the same as littleduks and all he needed to do was use verbatim disks. do u think that the shop will take back my disks?

try using the new cios ver9, also used WAD installation rather than network. all you need is the IOS36-64-v1042.wad in the root. and vios8 in the hbc apps.

I successfully installed CIOS rev9. Backup Launcher still gives me the disk error. I read here that you need to patch games to IOS249. When I try to load the launcher with a patched game in, I only get the Launching part from your image.

I still cannot install CIOSv7, is that pointless from CIOSv9?

You dont need the Cios7, the only problem right now is the media you are using. again do you see ios249 at the bootm of the screen using HBC then launch the gamma? used verbatim - R and burn at lower speed.

Used the Big G...Google where to get them...like every homebrew WADS, apps or homebrew games there is a disclosure..so it is at your risk. just like when you install the TP hack...yes it can damage your Wii depending how you used them..

I'm gathering that my problem lied in using the WiiGator channel.

Used the HBC app and I got what I should. Going out to get the verbatim DVD-R now.

Thanks again.

LU65 serial is one of those un hackable, if you try to install the ios dowdngrader it will just give you blank screen. There will be new hack coming out but not sure when..
