hey, guy...don't post with caps lock on. It's like shouting, and it gets annoying post after post. You could send your xbox to microsoft to get it fixed, but that's all I can think of seeing as I don't own one. I have a friend who does, though. I'll ask him.

how bad is it? Lots of little things rattling around? Or just not working? I might be able to help ya on this....but please, let the anger go. If you have to break stuff at least break somone elses. Breaking your own just leaves you with broken stuff and more anger. So, if you have opened the xbox, you can't send it to ms. pm me if you want more info on this matter. By the way, thanks for turning off the caps lock and remember...breath in ....breath out ...relax, it's only a game or toy or obsession or...whatever lol

just when you thought you'd seen it all, someone dumb enough ot kick their own xbox then blame someone else. These are the future world leaders people!!! "OMFG, did you see what that country did, nuke those bastards!!" I'd say we got 2-3 more good generations, then it's straight to hell in a bucket. we never should have stopped spanking the kids.

My mom got me a new xbox and my friend gave me his old ps2 so now I have a use for that cover. I have decided not to try and play my xbox copies and to play copied ps2 games instead since I already have fliptop cover. Anyway, I tried to install the fliptop on my ps2 and when I tried to take of the cover of my ps2 I yanked the cover off to hard and that ribbon cable connecting to the eject button got ripped out of it's socket!!!!! WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW?! Is there any way to put that cable back or is my ps2 broken?! DAMMIT!!!! WHY THE HELL DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO GO WRONG?! Someone please Help because I can't play my ps2 with that thing out of its socket!

everything goes wrong because you get impatient and don't think about the consequences of your actions. your ps2 is now probably shot, but there's always a way to fix evertything. Perhaps one of the wizards around here can give you better advice.

just put the damn cable BACK IN the socket! grab the blue part with some needle nose pliers and stick it back in there.

take of the bottom cover then that happened to me once when i had to fix my ps2 because it woudn't read any games it's easily fixed man don't make it difficult.......

you dont even have to take the bottom cover off, you can just pry up a bit on the internals of the system, that will give you plenty of room to put that ribbon back in. how about you TRY a few things before come back freaking out over somethning so tiny. That ribbon has been an issue countless times on this forum before, if you would have searched for 10 seconds you most likely would have found the answers you need.

YEEEESSSSSS! I fixed it. I took the bottom cover off, put the ribbon cable back in, put the bottom cover back on, and succesfully installed the fliptop. Yes I can't beleive I did it! I bet you all thought I would F*ck it up even more but I didn't! Now, how do I play burnt games because I ain't got a clue.

ok now your onto the har part lol u should have a dvd burner to play the games of course and also u better be playing copoes of games that you own or noone here will help you out........ as for burning and playing games ask the people in the ps2 forum..

rubix, was this all a joke, a really well executed joke on the AD community? Please say yes, that'd be great, it would serve dual-purpose: you'd make my day after taking yet another SAT; and more importantly you'd reaffirm my belief that people are generally intelligent and logical, especially with regard to their posessions and money. Reading your post in its entiretly necesitates that affirmation in my mind right now...Less, or course, it is a joke, and in that case I pay you homage for playing so many people so well.
