Oh I need my drugs. Nobody wants to see me without my caffeine and nicotine. In fact when I was teaching I used to tell my students that if I came in without my morning coffee they should probably go get me some or else they'd wish they had ;)

How do i become a moderater because i think i would amke agood one and could help the site out. I spend alot of time on this site so i think it would be good for me.

Wow look what I started :p
Not too surprised it turned into a sleep thread. I was just curious about other users. I was home for christmas and hit the 500 just before new years. Now at 1500, I think that is quite alot. I just hope people have thought them to be quality and not just quantity.
Have some coffee on me :)

This is my 62nd post since July 30, 2003. At this rate, I'll probably achieve member status sometime next year. I don't post very often unless I really think I know what I'm talking about. I really hate to come accross as an idiot, which I'm sure I could do easily.

God in my 1B term i had roughly a cup of coffee.... right after i finished the first one. I didnt know better really LOL. I ended up bringing a 36cup coffee maker and leaving it on my desk and the upgraded to the 100cup machines. It was constantly empty... kinda dangerous now that i think back on it .... 800 cups of coffee in roughly 1.5 weeks :P
THen I learned: I used caffeine pills. Well not anymore.... almost OD'd on them LOL, took 10 in a matter of 20 minutes when the maximum dose is 8 per day LOL.... now? Now i stay up naturally.... kinda creepy actually

WOW cafeine pills. Comeing from a person with a Biochemistry degree and worked for phamacetical companies, I would never touch those with a ten foot pole. And well I am on it something I tell everyone but should be in bright red letters. Is if you drink any alcohol, do not take acetominaphen (tylenol) for at least two days. Alcohol upregulates a protein that converts the acetominaphen into a highly toxic form.
But non need medication generally is not good.

Nah, you just need to be more creative with your math. Since you wrote the forum software you get to take credit for 10% of each post made by anyone. That puts you well ahead of Dela ;)

I am glad I didn`t make that top 10 list. I remeber how scared I was that I made fifth place on a list last summer. That really told me to take a vacation and get back to work in the Lab.
Good to see that English has broken 300 000 posts. Also dRD you should bask in the light that something you created has taken a life of its own with 3 users with more posts then you. That is a very good thing. If you did have the most number that looks like you are tring to keep it alive. This looks good for the investers. Pluse you can spend your time programing those millions of sugestions for improvements you get.

But what I want to make clear is if you wake up with a hang over, do not take it. You should use Ibuprofen, as it is ok to have after alcohol.
Caffene pills are over the counter and not regualated by food departements. Also they don`t need the same FDA approval as proscription drugs. So they are filled will lots of junk to buffer the caffene dose. ie the pill may be 5mg of caffene, but it weighs 1g or less and the rest of the weight is the other junk added. This really can be almost anything. So you really have to be careful with over the counter stuff.

lol! I think what happened there is clever little Petteri realised that he didnt need to do all the foruming anymore that he had found some little irish dude to do it for him lol.! I call it child labour really cause I was 15 when I joined the forum :P
Anyway's id said my target was 10,000 legit posts (legit = posts made on forums other than safety valve, suggestions, mod lounge etc) and probably still very far off that! After that then we can find a new target for me! lol
I miss the forums and admit, i have fallen behind a lot. I blame #ad_buddies :P ever since that chan went up we've got way more questions and help requests that we could handle. Maybe if we could bring IRC and the forum together a bit more it could strenthen the community a bit, even though its very strong already :D

This has been a great forum, and congrats Dela on the amount of posts.... my Target is 500 at the moment, i need to get posting more.. Including this i have posted 315 now.
So 315 in 6 months, that means to get up to Delas at my current posting would take about 15 years.... lmfao
