Has anyone figured out the solution to this problem? I have the exact same problem with a burned cd of hd advance. It loads all the games just fine to the Maxtor 120 gig drive, but none of the games load. Hope someone has come up with an answer.

Believe it or not, I think I just found the answer to the problem for at least some of you. What I just used to get it working was insead of booting up hd advance with my gameshark, I used the cogswaploader mem card exploit to load it. Now all of the supported games installed boot up great! I hope this helps out the rest of you...in the mean time I'm off to play some no lag GTA Vice City.

do you have a mod or did you use GS to load the cogswap exploit to the MC ?

The reason I ask is this, I do not have a mod or GS/SM boot disk and I am looking for a way to load up the hdloader autoload exploit to my MC. I do have a bootable HD Loader CD.

I used GS v1 to load the cogswaploader exploit onto my memory card. I tried to use my newer v4 gameshark but it opens the tray and won't let you swap. Some people have been able to swap at the browser screen, however I have never tried this with a burned cd. I have only tried this with pressed disks that were scratched so bad they were read as invalid. It might be worth a try at least. Just make sure you use a cd game.
