I want to install a mod chip in my ps2 and i just wanted to know what the difference between the dms4 pro chip and dms4 lite chip and how can the dms4 pro's additional features be helpful for me?THANK YOU

The DMS4 Lite has less memory on it. It forget the actual size difference, but I think the Lite has 256KB while the Pro has 2MB.

If you go with the Toxic BIOS then you have twwo options: Toxic BIOS and Toxic OS. Toxic BIOS is the basic setup that will make your mod-chip boot backups, and give you a few options. The Toxic OS is an operating system that gives you much more control over the functions of the chip and it has extra features.

Basically if you're a home-brew developer (you make your own programs or games to run on the PS2) or you want all the extra features of Toxic OS then you want to go with the Pro. Otherwise, the Lite will work just fine.

Go to the DMS forums, check out the "Third Party Flash Upgrades" section and read up on the difference between Toxic OS and Toxic BIOS to see which features you'll really need.
