I use dvd shrink to decode the dvd's that i want to "backup". I then use nero to burn it. It burns no problem and when I go to play it in a dvd player, it plays fine, but with no sound. Do I need something else to get sound, or am I doing something wrong? PLease help.

After Shrink reads the disc all available audio streams are listed in the right side of the screen. Check off the ones you want to keep. Did you uncheck any?

I never unclicked any of them an even double checked it to make sure. And they all were checked.

What about accessing the audio through the dvd menu? I've had a couple of dvds come out like that (never when using Shrink though) where they were defaulted with DTS sound selected, which you need a DTS decoder to play.

I never keep all audio just 5.1 english, but if you say you didn't uncheck any they must be there. Take your burned copy and let Shrink read it, see what audio streams it has

what size are they? If you don't include them in your burn, they will still show up in Shrink, but they will have a file size of 0.
