I have the following :-
1- EVO X
2- X3
3- dvd2xbox

10 GB hard driver

I want to upgrade my hard drive and i know i should get an ATA but what i don;t know is how can i connect the new drive in and get rid of the old drive ?

Can i keep both of them ? even if i can i still want to know how and what do i need to do to the new drive to act just like the old drive but with more space - do i need to copy the stuff over the new drive or i have to format - anyways if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it . Thanks

come on man, there are a bunch of threads here that state how to upgrade your hd...next time search before you ask a question that has already been answered a hundred times.

you gotta format the hd first, then simply install whatever you wish to it...yes you can always put the old hd back in...if you are asking if you can have 2 hd's in the xbox? yes you can, but you can't run both at the same time, you will need a switch to regulate which hd will get power.

do a little reading on the forums, everything you have asked thus far including when you asked about bios's, can be found here(search)...there is no need to create a thread that already exists.

yes 200 will work, i have seen a couple xbox's with 300gig hd's in them, why you would need that much i don't know...i have read a few articles that say there is some data corruption when you fill a huge hd on the xbox...not sure if it is true or not, i would test it but i don't have 300gigs of shit to put on a xbox hd...but i know up to 250gig hd's all work just fine.

just so you know, there is more than 1 page of threads in the forums, sometimes you may need to look through 10pages to find info.
