how do i ftp from xbox 2 computer. i have flashfxp on my computer n i have xbox ftp client in my xbox. i used a cat 5 cable. i checked my xbox ip in system settings using evox. but when i press connect in flashfxp it fails.

does any1 noe wat im doing rong

you need a....crossover cable..... ask in any computer shop
set the use static ip option on your xbox to yes
on pc go to control panel .... network settings..... right click on local area connection.... choose properties
double click on internet protocol tcp/ip
set ip address 3 higher than xbox... eg xbox ip is 192.168.1.200.... pc ip will be 192.168.1.203
click ok
on xbox set default gateway to same ip as you just set pc to... save and exit... reboot box.... now use flash fxp
