Are these guys reputable? I usually get my -R 8X TY's from SuperMediaStore, but these guys have them for the same price, BUT the shipping time and cost is HALF of what I pay SuperMediaStore. Any input would be appreciated...

never tried them before, guess we'll have to wait until someone else chimes in to state their opinions of this online outlet :)

i buy/bought MOST my media from supermediastore as well, i can verify personally that they have served me quite well since the beginning of this year~ :) i live in Cali. too, so i have to pay sales tax ON TOP of shipping which is rather high..so, i am very picky to wait until they have free shipping or a GOOD deal before i purchase from them~ but, i have always received what i ordered and the fact i am in California too~ i get my orders rather quickly~ :P

i know that my comment is of absolutely NO help to you, but, i would stick with what works...if you have been satisfied w/ supermediastore as i have...i would stick to them~ just my opinion~ :)

I hear you on that. I have only used SuperMediaStore twice as I am new to this. First time: 5 business days and $8+ shipping. Second time: UPS delivered to MC WOMAN. I found out that means "met customer woman." Thing is, I live alone and was at work at 1130 AM!!!! I usually have to get all my packages from the Rental Office. I guess this is not SuperMediaStore's problem per se, but it has been a week and a half, and I am still waiting on UPS to conclude their "investigation."

That being said, I'd rather use a vendor with FedEx shipping. UPS service varies so much from driver to driver!

makes sense to me, i agree with your point~ :)

i know my UPS guy personally, so, there is not a problem, i HAVE had problems w/ FEDEX, but then again, this is just MY OWN experience. we just gotta figure out what works best to suit each individual's needs~ :)

i wish you the best of luck w/ the UPS investigation, i have NEVER heard of that signature/release before...MC WOMAN...that sounds so shady~...i wouldn't blame it on supermediastore though, this is a UPS shipping issue...for the UPS driver to have let any person who was readily available sign for YOUR package is definitely WRONG. you could actually get him/her fired for that...may i suggest you call up UPS (if this investigation concludes NOT to your liking/satisfaction) and ask to speak to a supervisor and trace it back to the driver who actually let some "random woman" sign for YOUR package. you could easily get them fired OR they will take the value of loss of your item directly out of his/her paycheck~ i know this because i've done it before...but, with FEDEX...they delivered it to a residence 2 blocks away from me on my street and let some old grandma sign for it~ :) the driver actually had the audacity to try to LIE (to his supervisor when i called to complain) about him personally handing ME my order, when i was at work~

the things some people will do to save their own a$$~ :)

LOL... Just saw some media called "Burn Master" supposedly made by TY. It was on one of the recommended top sites to buy media (AllMediaOutlet.com for like $0.33/disc).. Tempting....

I gotta shake this bug and stay with the tried and true. I now see how easy it is to get caught up in this stuff and get taken.... I think I will stick to what's working now, and put on blinders to all these distractions...

Just finished reading a thread concerning BurnMaster. Interesting. I am getting a headache now, though. I may just subscribe to your school of thought and just order like 1200 TY's from my usual vendor!!! That way I won't be tempted to stray any time soon... lol
