I have been using DVD shrink forever with no problems. I was trying to burn The Forgotten and it got half way through the encoding process and it said that there was a problem. So I tried the DVD decrypter program and I got through the problem. When I tried to burn it from the program, it says the file size is too big. So I try using the Shrink again and the problem comes back. Can you please help!
OK, you have to rip with DVD Decrypter, which you said you did. Now you have to compress the already ripped movie with DVD Shrink. Rip the movie in File mode (Decrypter) and hit Open Files in Shrink and locate the folder with the files (should be VOB, IFO, and BUP files). This should lead you to success.
The reason for this is that DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in over a year, and since then new encryptions have come out that Shrink cannot handle, The Forgotten being one of them.

LSUGAL; If you have already created the ISO file with decrypter; then you can open up Shrink, click on "open image"; find the .mds file and compress it normally with shrink. After that; open back up Decrypter in ISO Write mode and burn away...

OK, I've everything you guys have said and it's still not working. I went to open disc image and selected the video and nothing happens.
Now what? How many movies are like this?!? I've done about 50 movies and haven't had a problem until now.
There is an easy way to also do this. Download AnyDVD trial version and let it run in the background. Then just use Shrink the way you always did before. <G>
