Hello, yesterday I modded my PS2 to a Flip top, and I was given Swap Magic 3.6. Well, the SM CD Boot dosen't work, (My first problem). It just makes an annoying clicking sound. Secondly, several games do not work with my PS2. (The ATV Offroad Fury demo, Spider-Man 2, and Final Fantasy X). These games do not work with my PS2, and they just make a weird clicking sound, but with FFX, the game freezes near the very begining of the game, and makes the clicking sound. Spider-Man 2 might also just be damadged horribly (The CD is scratched like..Bleh).


I tried burning FFX to try and fix the problem, but nothing changed.

Anyone able to help? >__> I think this is a hardware problem, seeing how a lot of games don't work and make and make a horrible clicking sound. Also, is my Swap Magic CD boot defective or something? Sorry, I'm a little new at this. Thank you for any help!

did you use the white circular piece that came with the fliptop, or the one that was in your ps2?

hey im using swap magic 3.6 w/ a flip top and i am having trouble loading the swap magic dvd ..every once in a while it will load up but most of the time my ps2 doesnt even read it....th swap magic cd works fine....any solutions???? thanks

Having the same problem bor. Like I have a slimeline too. And my dvd loader won't load it always says it's not ps2 formated disc. which Iknow that becuase it has small rings on the side that the laser sees. So yeah. not sure what the deal is. I think I might have installed piece B wrong. Becuase it don't fit in there the way I think the picture shows.although I can't make out what the picture is trying to get at. I can't tell where the peice is since everything it all black in there and so is the peices. and it is hard to make out in a printed photo. So yeah! hElp anyone??

See mine though it dosn't even load SOMETIMES. It never loads and it should I thinik. Anyone who know what the deal is let us know. Peace

Check out this site if you havent already http://www.jspot.net/ps2.htm i used a pice of blutac to keep the sensor down for part c, you need to recheck all the pieces its them thats your problem DUDE4690.TEH NEKO try cleaning the disc or the disc could be faulty, try using a friends

what version are you currently using bc i have been using dvd loader 7 all for a really long time now and i have not had any problems yet

although every once in a while by swap magic dvd wont load but i guess that's ok bc its kidna old

i think 3.3

My version is a PAL version and it's 3.6 so yeah
