Hey all. I gotta question, is there a way, using TMPGEnc to encode a movie onto 1 700 mb disc instead of having to use source range and break it up into two discs?

JerkyJosh: Are you creating a VCD or an SVCD? With VCD you're stuck with the fixed bitrate, but with SVCD you can adjust the bitrate to suit your needs better.

Check out DV-Tool available at:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dv-tool.cfm

It's an excellent tool for calculating the most suitable bitrate for encoding. Change the storage media size to 795MB (80min VCD) and the Audio format to 224Kb (MPEG1, VideoCD). Then just input the length of the video and you have your bitrate. Remember though, that you should try and keep the bitrate above 2000kbps to obtain acceptable results.
