I was playing JAK 2 and i was losing so i threw a pillow at the ps2 and it fell flat ( i had it standing up vertically) while jak 2 was on and now when i try and play it, it only shows the first screen (white picture at begining with name of company) then it sticks there. is there a way 2 MAKE it WORK?????????????????????

This might be a problem since u hit it and it fell flat.Clean the disk if u have a disk cleaner but if u dont u can use my trick that does work so trust me.U take the disk and put it in the clean toilet then flush it wid your finger in the middle holdin it, then just dry it carefully.This Will NOT mess up your game.

R U Sure about this!!!!!!!!!
I really want 2 beat Jak 2 but pushing my hand in a toilet!
That is DISGUSTING But I might try it WITH GLOVES ON if i can't find any other way to make the game work.

Before doing something stupid like sticking your game in the toilet, why don't you try a couple of things. First see if the PS2 will play any of your other games fine. If it has a problem with some of the other ones, then you may have bumped your laser or some other crucial component out of alignment. If your other games work fine, make sure Jak 2 doesn't have any scratches on it.

Yea it plays all of my ps2 DVD games EXCEPT for JAK 2!!
I checked it for scratches but it only had a few scratches but i have ps1 games that R covered with scratches and they play.
Maybe Jak has something against me because my Jak and Daxter Cd broke in half on the same i beat the game and now I haven't even been able 2 beat jak 2.
Is there any other way than sticking my hand in a TOILET

try cleaning the disc with some fine cutting paste, such as t-cut, this will take off a fine layer of the plastic and make the scratches less deep, basically the same thing that those scratch removal machines do, only cheaper.
if that fails you could allways try the "down the toilet" meathod or failing that, the "in the microwave for 30 seconds*" meathod
(*don't do that really :))

never heard of a game that stopped working like that. Maybe it's just pissed off that you threw a pillow at it.
Make sure there are no deep scratches on the disc and that the disk doesn't have any small cracks due to the fall.

hey i do it alot to my games it cleans it perfectly i sware. no need to beleive me.but i do it all the time for my codebreaker and my games.

Now that's what i'm sayin'
Like the first person who thought, i'll bet if i paste some bird feathers to some cardboard cut outs that look like wings and jump off this building i can fly.
ever think you could just do the same thing by running the disc under some slightly warm water and drying it with a soft cloth?
What made you first think, huh, i think i'll just stick my hand and this disc in the toilet to clean it.
No offense but even if it shined up my discs so that they looked brand new again i don't think i would mention that i did it to anyone.

the toilet water has bacteria that cleans the disk and anything on the disk that a cloth aint gettin off.I got it from CMX witch stands for Code Master X.He is a guy i ask when my codebreaker or any other disk doesnt work.He works for the company Pelican witch is the creator of the codebreaker.He is an expert because its his job.Thats where i got it from.The toilet trick worked for me so i dont care what u say about it.All i know is it works.

I've tried everything except for the [boold]TOILET trick!!!!
and i haven't tried the fine cutting paste either.
But the cd dosen't really have scratches it just starts and stops on the first screen (white screen).
I might try the toilet thing before the fine paste cutter because i don't have 1 at home right now and i can't go out because my leg is in a KASS(i broke my leg).
BUT BEFORE I TRY THE TOILET THING HAS ANYONE ELSE TRIED THIS??????????????
