depends on what hard drive you get. the compatibility list can be found somewhere around here..... also, you'll have to purchase USB extreme as well.

also depends on which ps2 version you have, well it doesnt, but it will be very slow with the fat ps2, i think the new one has USB2 ports

dont bother with a usb hdd, compatability is less then HD advance, and no real benefit of it IMO
