hi guys...
i've been occasionally reading your forum for over 9 months and i finally decided to register...
i just read that there have been modchips for the gamecube and i wanted to ask if it's easy to install..if not by me by a friend who's a computer technician...
cause i was thinking of buying a used gamecube and a modchip so i can play resident evil 0 1 and 4..
also do you know where i can get one?i live in greece and don't mind ordering online but only if i cant find one anywhere else..also how much is it?
and finally i read there are two chips...which is better?i read that the qoob is flashable...so you can download new bios and update it...is it the same with the other one or not?

You're readed these forums over 9 month and dont know:P

Qoob is flashable throught USB and serial(and maybe too DVD).
And Viper is flashable throught serial and DVD.

And those are pretty easy to install if can solder. And i think computer technician can install it easily...

And GC costs from 60? to 120? and u can get used even 40?.
Or do u mean chip? Viper is 55? that i remember and Qoob is cheaper.

the key word here is occasionally...you see i haven't got internet connection home for over 3 months now...and today i was able to get to a pc and remembered to check...and i meant the chip not the console...
