I have two non-encrypted DVD videos. I backed up these videos into two different folders using DVD shrink. Normally I would burn two DVDs but now I want to combine these two DVDs into and add two chapters.
If I use DVD shrink's re-author feature, it just combines two videos but it does not allow you to create chapters so that I can easily go to second DVD.
I cannot do this in Nero VIsion Express because it can import videos in AVI or MPG format... it does not recognize VOB files in Video_TS folder.
I meant to reply to another post but since i can't seem to delete this one, I will mention I saw an option for vob files on ultra video joiner. The shareware version only let me join part of two vob files together
are the files in a uniform package.All roughly similar, like mpeg2 ,PAL etc.If so use TMPGEnc dvd author.You can add the files ;create menus and then re burn them to disc
Example:
1. I have FOLLOWING folders for first dvd
C:\DVDTitle1\VIDEO_TS
C:\DVDTitle1\AUDIO_TS
2. I have FOLLOWING folders for second dvd
C:\DVDTitle2\VIDEO_TS
C:\DVDTitle2\AUDIO_TS
I want to show the DVD menu that shows two options. If I select the first option it shoud play first video. If I select 2nd, it should play second video.
Yes, Nero Visio Express supports .VOB files and I can create my own menu. HOwever, if I go through NVE, it needs to go through another transcoding that deteriorates video quality. Atleast, that was my understanding.
