I have heard of a PS one trick you can do with simply a paperclip, and i have seen it being dona at my friend's house. Is this trick possible on the PS2 Slim?
In case you don't know what im talking about, you block the sesors, making the PS think the tray is closed, then placing ANY original PAL/PS/PS2 disc in the tray, let it identify it as a "Real" disc, then quickly swap it for a copied one. This way the PS thinks that there is a PAL disc inside, and it loads the copied game.
Again, is this possible without BUYING ANYTHING?

I would recommend getting a 'Swap tool pro" kit,
And swap magic disks before i would try the
'home' paper clip method.

You have the ps2 apart, why not install a flip-top kit instead,
to use with swap magic disks.

I would NOT use the above posted method.

Only free methods are options for me.

I just gotta make a quick comment here...

If you try and play your burned games "ghetto style" meaning evertime you insert a burned ps2 game you have to rip the drive tray out w/ a hanger or something of that like, your probably going to end up busting your drive tray pretty quick. That's $100 down the drain.

Why not just spend a little money and get swap magic and a flip top case. That would probably be around $50...

Or, if you have any soldering skills at all, you could mod it and spend about $20 for a decent ps2 chip.
