MAJOR PROBLEM PLS HELP

ALADDIN 1.5 CHIP I THINK

OK we have opened up the xbox and everyti\hing looks like its in place ..

heres what comes up...when i boot up THE CHIP


my skin shows up with all my info, c:drive fdrive ect...

then heres the list of stuff i have,
msdashboard
turn off xbox
reboot xbox
setttings
backup

now seems i have no programs do what can i try now ? anyone ??

before i had

launch dvd
launch game from hd
avalaunch
system settings
ect ect ect..

i really need help thanks

Yes it sound to me like the .ini was altered like flux said.

Nop havent touched it what so ever.. last thing we did was em, play a cd-r in xbmc and watched it. then i played some games.. shutdown , turned it on next day and only those come so i have no programs?

to me it sounds like i dont have evox or avalaunch ? anyway to install them again

im a noob to xbox stuff

No, ok example.. if i delete xbmc from my xbox it will still show up on the evox screen, but it'll be highlighted in red (or something like that depending on the skin you use)

have you checked the .ini file. based on what i know thats all i can think of.

Some games come with a little bug in them which looks for evolution x and rewrites the .ini file to mess up your xbox.

LOL

Reinstall your dash with slayers auto installer v2.6, it wont touch your games saves or anything on the HD (if u do it right that is).

The version of star wars battlefront that came with the star wars trilogy dvd set kinda screwed up a few dashboards.
