Since school has finished I started getting back into backing up ps2 games. I just had a few unanswered q's. I used verbatim 4x dvd-r code MCC dvd's to backup Midnight Club 3 & Fight night Round 2. The burns were flawless, except for the fact that finalazing the disk took rather long and it was loud. The games worked amazing with swap magic 3.3. One of my questions is, even though the games are working perfectly the ps2 is quite loud while playing it (clicking constanly,) is this a problem? My other Q was, I lent the game to my friend whom has a ps2 which is chipped (it was purchased from Kuwait since all ps2 games there are sold burnt,) and the game didn't work for him... What might attribute to this? He has tried other backed up games of mine and they worked....

Thanks alot

alot of games do that click noise.you could try to make the game smaller and see if the noise goes away.dvdrs are just plain harder to read than commercial discs.you try to stay away from the edge of the dvdr disc when you burn a game.by keeping the size under 4gb or as small as you can get the game you might eliminate read problems and noises.
