I have tried using all programs to burn the movie Hitch and National Treasure. I get the movie to burn and play. The problem is that halfway through the movie there is no sound. I cant figure it out.

Tell us the brand and type of media, the media code if you know it, the brand and model of burner, and the speed at which you burned. Have you burned other disks that play OK on the standalone (I assumed)? Does it play back with sound on the burner?

Yes both dvd's do the samething. Half way through, no sound. Sound at the start and all of the extras. Also, when i run dvd shink, when you are suppost to put in the blank dvd for burning, it says that the dvd burnt (before i put in the blank and before i take out the original dvd).

Also I never let DVD Shrink do my burning. I always create a folder of video files or an image file with DVD Shrink and then use Nero or DVD Decrypter themselves to do the burning as a separate step instead of allowing DVD Shrink to piggyback on either application.

after compression open dvddecrypter click on mode under iso select write then click on the folder icon to find the iso you wish to copy then use the huge button on the bottom to start the burn

You have to make sure you generate an image (iso) file (not a folder of video files) with Shrink and then burn with Decrypter. Mode menu--ISO--Write as l8nights indicated.
