How do I get my vob files into another format? Like mpeg or avi, I am using Gordian Knot! But I am afraid I dont have much to help me *sighs* I have sucsesfully created the vobs but thats as far as I can get with it.I am trying to encode video from dvd onto my computer and I can only get it half done. I have only been connected 4 months now.

Hey dude, I apreciate your response, I am sorry to join a place like this without much knowledge to contribute, that software I will not be purchasing, call me cheap lol, Its ok. I am wondering what your opinion on this free decoding software is?

I did a dvd-r into AVI to save on my computer. It turned out 1.62Gb but I know there are shrinkers etc.. I am just getting into it, hopefuly I will get it, but I'm still not used to it. It didn't turn out top quality but I think I just needed to tweak the setting better or something, obviously something I will have to learn on my own or somebody else with me. This is a great little spot here! Thank's.
