are you able to boot from a CD? If you can you might be able to flash a good bios on the chip (assuming it's good) and install a dashboard.

Ok I finally found the install, I connected it right, and now when I power it on, it comes on for 2 seconds flashing green and orange, then it power off for a few seconds, it repeats this two more times, then it flashes green and red and the dvd drive won't open at all, is it totally screwed? And I must say thanks to all that have help!!!
THANKS!!

Ok, when the Xbox does the 3x reboot, it is most likely due to a failed mod install or wrongly flashed bios.

Go back over your motherboard and check for any solder splashes, bridges, or dry solder spots. Make sure that everything is soldered correctly and that everything is making a good connection. Once you feel confident about the install, put your Xbox back together and try it again.

What version Xbox are you running? And I have never heard of a chameleon chip, what guide are you looking at for it?
