Ok I've been burning dvd's for about 3 years now. About a year & 1/2 or so with DVD Shrink and/or decrypter. I have a desktop & a laptop. There have been several movies in the past with the most recent one being Donnie Darko The Directors Cut that when running Shrink I get some form of error whether it be encrypted sectors or that Redundancy error. Then I'll try Dvd decryptor or the DVD Fab decryptor & get some kind of error there. Now starting to get frustrated I pop it into my laptop & it works fine with DVD shrink alone no problems. Everything (preferences) on both computers are set up the same so why would it work on the laptop & not the desktop??? Any ideas???

I assuming you have different burners in each computer. Some burners are better than others when it comes to ripping to get past those CRC errors. Just now I popped in a movie in the LiteOn keep getting errors /retries - switched over to the Pioneer and ripped in 6 minutes - not one error. If I have a problem with one I just switch to the other - usually works. If you have been using the same burner in the one computer for 3 years the laser may be getting going. You can also try
one of those cleaning kits or some forced air to clean it out.
