X3ce and Avalaunch...HELP!!!

I have two questions I was hoping the Wizards around these parts can help me with, I have a Ver.1 modded box with X3ce and Avalaunch(AND Latest x3bios, for my first question after I installed the mod I installed Avalaunch on C: (I really haven't figured out how to modify the path in the avalaunch config file yet,so basiclly I justed FTP'ed everthing to C:, then I got a great idea to install XBMC as a dash and did the same needless to say XBMC overwrote peices of avalaunch such as /Skins ect. as they are the same subfolder names as avalaunch, I wasn't happy with this so I decided to get rid of everything and start from stratch and I wiped C: reinstalled Avalanch no problem and of course lost all of my "Original msdash files" I need those files so I can run unmodded from time to time, I will check the usual places but what are they called? I need the whole kit.Second I have a Maxtor 80g HD I am just dying to get in to replace the original, all the info on the web involves using autoinstallers of various types an evox I am usuing avalanch, and can ftp both ways, (From what I have learned) there seems to be a way to disconnect the DVD hook up one drive as master and one drive as slave and copy(Also you need a power adapter Y but I really need to know the process step by step.
