Does Swap Magic allow you to play dual layer pressed Japanese games?

i.e. The Japanese NTSC Gran Turismo 4.

The new swap magic supports this so Ive heard.. don't know when it comes out though.

I have a v5 Ps2 with a magic mod. Does anyone know if there is a special boot up procedure for Japanese pressed DVD 9's?
