hi everybody,

I just bought Memorex CD-RW 52x 24x 52x, I got some problems burning cds, i would like to have help with

1) With SOME copied CDs (not CD-ROMs) (i don't mean games, even with my own photos cd-R), The drive starts creating the image fine, until some point depending on the disk, then it slows down dramatically ( about 25 kb/s, 0.2x) for a while then it gets back to normal speed. But the newly burned CDs don't work fine.

2) The drive is supposed to work with 52x when reading or writing, strangely the best speed I get is about 16x even with 48x disks.

BTW, I use Clone Cd and Nero, both have the same behavior. My OS is Win 2000.

Any help is appreciated!
