i bought a spider 1.1 mod chip installed it worked great come up with install flash using disc...so i logged onto spider.com downloaded flash programme and put it on cd..no probs..put it in my xbox and it wouldnt read the disc at first..so i tryed t again and it come up with "no bios found.....halted" so i eft it a while then decided to take out the cd as nothin was happenin. now when i switch it on the blue led flashes on and off and my green light n the fronty flashes red and nothing comes up on my tv have i f*cked it up? could some one please tell me what i can do to sort this out :(

Ouch!!!! Sounds like you flashed the BIOS wrong, the old version went bye-bye and the new version failed to install off the CD. I have no idea if this is truely the case, and I have no idea how to fix it. I just feel for ya, sorry for ya that is. Good Luck

Dude, I think you should be worried. It sounds like you've fragged ur box. The Red flashing light is sometimes referred to as the "red light of death" due to the fact that most people rarley recover from this. When ur box flashed it should say summtin along the lines of service ur box and then in the upper right corner should be a number, tell me what it is and I might be able to tell u where u screwed up.

It's kida funny it says "no BIOS found", if there is no BIOS found, what's telling you there is no BIOS. I amassuming that in this event Microsoft anticipated this and this is just a pre-rendered error message that comes up. I don't think this is important, but I was wondering how the xbox can tell you there is no anything if there no BIOS. Probally error message that's automatically displayed if system can't boot.

well i have a switch for the mod chip and it works fine without the modchip..its just when i switch it on nothing happens an my tv is blank...i cant even open the tray unless my mod chip is switched off....i took the liberty of purchasing the spder 1.1 rather than the crappy 1.0 without the switch just incase this bollox happens ...well my xbox isnt knackered just my chip and i'm waitin for spider.com to return my email cause i dont get fobbed off easy lol i wanna ew chip or a refund lol
