This is a great site and I am just getting interested in burning DVD's. I am hoping someone can help me by tell me how to burn them to a cd so they are playable in a DVD player. I need to know everything, file types, cd types, everything. Thanks for any help you can offer.

There are lots of guides on the web that give this information try the digital-digest or doom9 websites.

To play the CD (with video it will be a VCD) your DVD player must be VCD capable.
